There is no denying that J.R. Martinez’ words have inspired millions. And now he’s finally putting them down to paper for a new memoir called Full of Heart.

Spanning his entire life, Full of Heart will cover the devastating burns Martinez suffered in Iraq as well as his triumphant victory on Dancing With The Stars. And fans will learn a lot of new tidbits about the motivational Latino star too.

Did you know that J.R. had ambitions of trying out for the NFL? Or that he was raised by a single mom? Martinez hopes to use his story to inspire others on multiple levels, and not just focus on the accident that nearly took his life.

“It teaches people we can all overcome,” J.R. said when describing his book. “Change is scary, and I think my story allows you to understand -- you can make it work. We all have the power to make it work. We can find the way to do great things.”

Full of Heart arrives in bookstores this week.
