'The X Factor' Goes Live With New Hosts Khloe Kardashian Odom And Mario Lopez (VIDEO)

'The X Factor': How Did Khloe Kardashian Odom Do In Her Debut?

"The X Factor" went live and brought with it a pair of new hosts. As anticipated, veteran emcee Mario Lopez was joined by newcomer -- to hosting, that is -- Khloe Kardashian Odom. There was much anticipation in seeing how Khloe would handle the pressures of hosting in such a high-pressure situation. And with 16 contestants to plow through, she and Mario had to keep things moving.

Khloe proved she was willing to push for hard answers from the judges as well. After Demi Lovato said of the new girl group 1432 -- formerly known as LYLAS -- that only one of them stood out during their performance, Khloe pushed her to identify which one.

Lovato resisted for a bit, but Khloe kept on her and finally she pointed out which one. "Okay, it took a little interrogation," Mario said with a smile.

The two showed an easy chemistry, while the experienced Lopez was smooth and commanding from the beginning. Zap2It wrote that Khloe settled in nicely, improving as the night went along. Their reviewer wrote, "Khloe was also 1000x less awkward than that doofy guy from last year whose name we can't even remember anymore. Awkward Interrupter Guy."

His name was Steve Jones, but if these two keep killing it night after night, no one may remember his name by the end of this season of "The X Factor," Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET on Fox.

TV Replay scours the vast television landscape to find the most interesting, amusing, and, on a good day, amazing moments, and delivers them right to your browser.
