'The X Factor': Girl Group 1432 Perform Demi Lovato's 'Skyscraper' And Change Their Name Again (VIDEO)

'The X Factor': Girl Group 1432 Perform A Demi Lovato Song In Front Of Demi Lovato

In "The X Factor's" first live results show of the season, girl group 1432 were forced to sing for survival -- and they refused to play it safe.

The fivesome chose to tackle judge Demi Lovato's "Skyscraper" for their Save Me song, and surprisingly, the risk paid off. After joking that she wasn't sure whose track it was, Lovato graciously told the group that they performed it better than the original singer, much to the audience's delight. In the end, the girls were chosen to stay, while country trio Sister C was given the boot along with Willie Jones, David Correy and Diamond White.

Even more of a crowd-pleaser? Simon Cowell's decision to rename 1432 yet again. He asked America to choose another title for the group. Their ideas can't be any worse than the one the girls chose for themselves, after all.
