The Massachusetts polls closing time is 8 p.m. local time; opening time is 7 a.m.
There was no early voting in Massachusetts, but a number of absentee ballots have already been submitted, MassLive.com reports.

Massachusetts offers 11 electoral votes in the presidential race. It is unlikely to be awarded to its former Gov. Mitt Romney, as the state has not voted Republican since 1984. See our presidential election map here.
