The outcome of today’s heated presidential contest will likely come down to the votes cast in the 106 counties George W. Bush won in 2004 and President Barack Obama won in 2008, according to the Associated Press. (There’s a reason Obama and Mitt Romney have spent the last year campaigning in only a handful of states). The thirteen counties that swung most dramatically between Bush in ’04 and Obama in ’08 may be the most decisive of all.
