GOP candidate John Raese was projected to lose the West Virginia Senate election to Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.V.), according to CBS and NBC.
The race was a rematch of a 2010 contest, where Manchin defeated Raese in a special election to replace late Sen. Robert Byrd (D-W.V.)
