Mitt Romney looks set to win 8 electoral votes over Barack Obama in the Louisiana election on Tuesday. As expected, Louisiana has been consistently in Romney hands since the early days of the general election.
Louisianans are expected to have a strong showing at the polls, based on better-than-expected early voting numbers.
Louisiana polls will remain open from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM Central Time.
