'Revolution': Blackout Mystery Explained?

Just seven episodes into “Revolution” and the show is already answering questions about some its biggest mysteries, like how the blackout is even possible.

Apparently Rachel, Ben and Grace inadvertently created a device that turned off all electricity while trying to develop a clean power source. And the Department of Defense took interest in the project.

A flashback revealed them grappling with the decision to work with the DOD. "Rachel, we are crashing a burning here. Another month, we won’t be able to keep the lights on. DOD is a lifeline,” Ben urged. “What if they want to use it as a weapon?” Rachel ominously asked.

TV Guide loved the reveal -- and said they can’t wait to see what questions the show answers next.

But TVLine pointed out that some questions still remain. Did they take the DOD contract? Or is someone else responsible for the blackout?

TV Replay scours the vast television landscape to find the most interesting, amusing, and, on a good day, amazing moments, and delivers them right to your browser.
