Country music's poster couple Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert had a big win last week, when they swept up "Entertainer of the Year" and "Female Vocalist of the Year," respectively, at the CMA Awards. But for all those fans wondering if Shelton, 36, and Lambert, 29, are planning on celebrating their victories by expanding their family in the near future, the answer is no.
"I don't plan on having [children] for a while," Lambert told People magazine. "To me, my dogs are my children."
It's true that the "Over You" singer is a huge canine fan. Lambert has adopted six rescue dogs and couldn't stop gushing about them to the magazine, saying things like "there's just something in me about dogs and animals" and "they're so grateful and the love they give you is like nothing else. I can give the biggest show of my life, and my dogs don't give a damn. They just care about their mom."
