Pharmacist Allegedly Trades Stolen Pills For Sex

A pharmacist in Indiana is accused of stealing money and prescription pills which he used for personal recreation and in exchange for sex.

Indiana State Police Drug Enforcement arrested John Webb, 68, Monday night after a two week investigation that began when Webb's employers reported suspicious activity, WTHI reports.

"Webb was allegedly providing the cash and drugs to a female acquaintance in return for sexual favors, to family members and customers, and for his own use," Indiana State Police Public Information Officer Sgt. Joe Watts told WBIW.

The owners of JR Pharmacy in Terre Haute contacted police about Webb in October, WLFL reports.

Webb, who worked for 10 years at the pharmacy, allegedly stole more than $1,000 in cash and various pharmaceutical drugs, including pain killers. He is charged with theft and dealing in a controlled substance.

The disgraced pharmacist is being held in the Vigo County Jail, according to WBIQ. More charges are expected.
