Hayden Panettiere dropped by "Jimmy Kimmel Live" to chat up her new show and her new hometown, both conveniently called "Nashville." Panettiere moved there for the series, and discovered that she's got some pretty big-name neighbors. She lives near the likes of Miranda Lambert, Kellie Pickler, Kelly Clarkson and Taylor Swift.
When Kimmel asked her if she'd ever borrowed a cup of sugar from one of her superstar neighbors, Panettiere said that she'd borrowed something a little more valuable. She needed a guitar, and texted all of the aforementioned women. Swift was the only one to respond, sending a guitar down with two security guards and a form for Panettiere to sign for.
"I saw her at the CMAs and I went up to her and I was like, ‘Hey, Girl! Good to see you. You know I still have your guitar.’ And she looked shocked," Panettiere said.
Apparently, she still has the guitar, kind of adopting it as her own. But she did sign that paper. So unless it was adoption papers, Swift or her security guards may someday come looking for it. Maybe after this appearance reminds them she still has it.
Catch Hayden Panettiere on "Nashville," Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET on ABC. "Jimmy Kimmel Live" airs weeknights at 12 a.m. ET, also on ABC.
