In the first episode, Tom gets Carrie an internship at a law firm in Manhattan, and thus the greatest love of Carrie's life begins.

The show also stars Ellen Wong, Katie Findlay, Chloe Bridges, Austin Butler, Freema Agyeman and Brendan Dooling.

"The Carrie Diaries" is based on the series of novels from Candace Bushnell and is executive produced by Bushnell, Josh Schwartz, Stephanie Savage, Len Goldstein and Amy B. Harris. Harris, a veteran of "Sex and the City," wrote the pilot.

In other CW scheduling news, "Nikita" is moving to 8 p.m. ET on Friday, November 30. The show will be followed by reruns of "Arrow" at 9 p.m.
