Don Lemon: Jonah Hill 'Treated Me Like The Help' (VIDEO)

FEUD!

CNN host Don Lemon took some time on "Starting Point" Friday morning to address a Twitter feud he had one day earlier with Jonah Hill.

Lemon and Hill seemed to have an awkward encounter in a hotel lobby. Lemon took to Twitter to tell Hill and his followers that he felt the actor treated him poorly.

"Said hi to @jonahhill in hotel. Think he thought i was bellman. Didn't know his name til bellman told me. A lesson to always be kind," Lemon wrote.

Hill responded to Lemon and tweeted,"I said hi what do you want me to do move in with you? I was in a hurry. Didn't realize you were a 12 year old girl. Peace."

"Hardly," Lemon shot back. "You're not my type. But I know rude. And u were."

Hill responded once again. "I walked out of the restroom and found you waiting for me," he wrote. "Shook hands, said hi and was on my way. Sorry if you found that rude."

Lemon responded, "Was waiting for luggage. Bellman & I laughed at how self-important u were. Just being honest. Be nice. Stardom is fleeting."

On Friday morning, Lemon tweeted that he was going to "set the record straight" on his feud with Hill. He seemed to spare no detail as he recounted his version of the story. He said:

"At first when I tweeted, I just wanted to get it off my chest and it was kinda funny, [Jonah Hill is] a comedian. I had just gotten back from covering the election and I was stuck in an airport for six hours in Cincinnati because the cab driver wanted to take a picture with me as I was getting out so I missed the cut off by a minute [to check] my bag...Listen, Jonah Hill doesn't owe me anything and he may have been having a bad day. But Jonah Hill treated me like the help...when I basically wanted to say, 'I like you. I think you're funny.' I didn't remember his name. I was checking out of the hotel waiting for my bags. And he walked by. I don't know where he was going. And I said, he just kinda walked, just kinda, oh, and then like I was the help. And so then he walked back and I said, 'Maybe you misunderstood, I just wanted to tell you I think you're really funny.' And he just kinda went like, gave me the wet handshake like oh, and just walked away."

He added, "It normally doesn't bother me, but I was done because I had been taught by my mother to always be kind to people...I'm not as famous as Jonah Hill...but when you're in this business, you have to be nice to people because the only reason you're here is because people go to watch your movies or people subscribe to cable, otherwise you would not have a job."
