Lizzy Caplan has a ton of TV credits to her name including many, many canceled shows from "Freaks and Geeks" to "Party Down," but that has just endeared her to audiences even more.

While promoting her new movie "Save the Date" with a Reddit AMA, Caplan discussed her various TV roles and the much-hyped "Party Down" movie.

When asked about her four-episode "Freaks and Geeks" stint, Caplan said she couldn't take credit for how awesome the show was.

"I was very young and stupid when I did that show," Caplan said. "So I mostly sat quivering in the corner ... too afraid to talk to anybody. I take zero credit for how awesome that show it ... but I milk it for cred often and aggressively."

Following "Freaks and Geeks," Caplan appeared in several short-lived TV shows and various films, including Starz's "Party Down." The show lasted for two seasons -- 20 total episodes -- and starred Caplan, Adam Scott, Jane Lynch and Megan Mullally. The show found new life on Netflix and the creators announced a movie ... which has been talked about and talked about.

"We have high hopes for the 'Party Down' movie, but everybody went ahead and got super busy since its cancellation," she said. "So I'm not sure when it will go down ... but I'm confident it WILL go down."

Caplan's Reddit statements echo her previously statements on the matter. After Mullally said the movie could shoot next spring or summer, Caplan went on "Comedy Bang Bang" and said, "She's not supposed to be saying that. We're hoping that the 'Party Down' movie happens. I don't see why it wouldn't, but nothing is set in stone."

In September, "Party Down" co-creator Rob Thomas said there was nothing new to report on the movie's progress.
