A former student at the Miami University of Ohio has admitted to creating and distributing on campus an offensive flier explaining the "Top 10 Ways To Get Away With Rape," but the school will not release many details of the case.

The student pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct Wednesday, a charge that carries a punishment of up to a $100 fine. WCPO reports that's basically all the public will get to find out:

A Miami University spokesperson says the incident was handled through their disciplinary process. The individual is no longer a student but it's unclear if he was expelled or withdrew from the university.

The request to not name the victim was made by the defendant's attorney and was not objected to by the Butler County Prosecutor Mike Gmoser.

"I didn't want to add further punishment by making his name public," Gmoser told the news outlet.

Although it's safe to assume the student is not a minor, the judge has sealed the case, according to the Associated Press. It's also not clear whether the guilty student was expelled or withdrew of his own account.

Miami U was criticized for declining to issue a safety alert about the flier when it appeared on campus in October. The university insisted it wasn't an immediate threat, but police said the flier was "very detailed," according to WCPO.
