Trindon Holliday Punt Return Touchdown: Broncos WR Lets Go Of Ball, TD Doesn't Get Reviewed (GIF) [UPDATED]

Posted: Updated:

Trindon Holliday did it again. Or did he?

A week after returning a kickoff for a 105-yard touchdown against the Bengals, Denver's tiny receiver looked like he returned a punt 76 yards for a touchdown against the Panthers. But after a second look, however, Holliday may have let go of the ball just before crossing the goal line.

Take a look at the GIF below (H/T to The Big Lead)

Even though every scoring play must be reviewed, the referees never looked at Holliday's return and the Broncos took a 14-7 lead. But while some marveled at Holliday's speed, others noticed the premature celebration and compared it to DeSean Jackson's mistake against Dallas in 2008.

What do you think? Should Trindon Holliday's touchdown have been overturned?
