Ashley Greene Covers Seventeen: 'Twilight' Star Opens Up About Exes (PHOTOS)

'I Can Still Love An Ex As A Person' (PHOTOS)

With "Breaking Dawn: Part 2" hitting theaters this week, "Twilight" hysteria is reaching its final climactic peak. As "Twilight" star Ashley Greene reprises her role as vampire Alice Cullen and gets ready to make her next move, she opens up to Seventeen Magazine about her past relationships, filming the last installment of "Twilight" and where she sees herself in 10 years.

On the cover of the December/January issue of magazine, the 25-year-old actress and face of DKNY trades in her usually ladylike dresses for a rocker-chic look in a red maxi skirt, leather vest and studded platforms. Scroll down to view the full cover.

According to Greene, despite the relationship drama that has clouded media coverage of the film, the cast had a great time filming "Breaking Dawn: Part 2" -- and even surprised the director by secretly coordinating a surprise dance-off during one of their scenes!

"We were all in on it, but [the director] Bill Condon didn’t know," she says. "[All the vampires] were supposed to charge at each other and destroy each other, and instead we just started dancing! Everyone did it -- the Cullen clan and probably 20 vampire extras! It was such an amazing way to end it all."

"Twilight" may be coming to an end, but the starlet isn't expecting her career to slow down anytime soon. When asked where she wants to be in five years, Ashley responded: "Healthy and happy. Ideally my career will be extremely stable. I really don’t want to be here for a minute and then gone the next. In five years I wouldn’t be opposed to having a husband and thinking about kids. Okay, maybe 10 years for that! And I want to win an Oscar or an Emmy."

For her next move, Greene is being eyed for a more sinister role in upcoming horror flick "Satanic."

An in her personal life, unlike co-stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, Greene has kept her relationships mostly out of the spotlight. The currently single actress -- who has been romantically linked to Joe Jonas and Broadway star Reeve Carney of "Spiderman" -- hasn't met the guy she wants to settle down with yet. And she tries not to let her relationships become tainted by nasty breakups.

"I certainly have [been in love]," she tells Seventeen. "I can still love an ex as a person, regardless if the breakup was bad. I would never wish anything negative on them. It takes more energy to hate them than to wish them well."
