Hundreds of Catholics flocked to a hospital in Malaysia after a cleaner reportedly came upon an image of the Virgin Mary that he could not wipe away.
A Sime Darby Medical Centre official, who declined to be named, told Free Malaysia Today that the hospital is bracing for large crowds expected to visit and to gaze upon the image.
"We are operating a hospital and our main concern is our patients," the official said. "We also expect people to behave like in any other hospitals."

Anthony Selvanayagam, a retired bishop of the diocese of Penang, told the Malay Mail that Catholics should not get too excited about the image until an investigation by the church can determine its authenticity.
"Let us be peaceful and not get carried away by such incidents,” Selvanayagam said. "The church does not blindly accept such claims without first conducting an investigation on what was sighted."
Eunice Fernandez, who lives near the hospital, said she's already convinced, according to the Daily Mail.
"We believe Mary, mother of God, has a message for us, as she is looking down on us and then at a Malaysian flag," Fernandez said. "We can also see Jesus and he is also moving, they are not static."
