'How I Met Your Mother': 'The Autumn Of Break-Ups' Has Come For Robin, With Barney's Help (VIDEO)

"The Autumn of Break-Ups" had one more relationship to tear asunder before it ended on "How I Met Your Mother." This time around, the focus turned to Robin and Nick, and Nick's decided lack of intelligence. The gang hadn't had the heart to tell her, and the sex had been so great Robin hadn't noticed. But a groin injury sidelined him from the bedroom and suddenly they were talking.

Still, the sex -- and those abs -- were so mesmerizing that Robin couldn't bring herself to cut those ties. So Barney showed up to do it for her.

He did so with an impassioned declaration of his own love for Robin. Afterward, he immediately insisted that it was all a ploy to help her kick Nick to the curb, but Robin was right to see it as so much more than that. Barney may still be fighting it with everything he has, but he's desperately in love with Robin.

Now that all of those pesky relationships are out of the way, what is there left but to get to the business of finally revealing "How I Met Your Mother," Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on CBS?
