Prince Charles Style Evolution: From Knee Socks And Kilts To, Well, More Knee Socks And Kilts (PHOTOS)

Cowboy hats! Fur hats! Swim trunks!

Prince Charles has been royalty since he was in diapers. Once married to one of the most beautiful women in the world, Princess Diana, and father to two of the most sought-after men in Britain, Prince Harry and Prince William, this man is no stranger to the limelight.

Although the Prince has been in the public eye forever, his style has not changed very much over the years; in fact he was quoted as saying "Every 25 years I seem to come back in fashion." Since his youth, he has favored gentlemanly attire consisting of bow ties, collared shirts and tweed jackets (hey, if it ain't broke, don't fix it).

So in celebration of Prince Charles' 64th birthday today (November 14th), we've gathered some of his most iconic style moments (our personal favorite has to be his polo playing get-ups).

Although he'll forever be known for his humanitarian efforts, commitment to the environment and romance with Camilla Parker Bowles, when conjuring up these images it's hard to forget his ever-present kilts, knee socks and double-breasted suits.
