'Homeland': Brody Loses His Cool In Exclusive Sneak Peek At 'I'll Fly Away' (VIDEO)

Exclusive 'Homeland' Sneak Peek: The Pressure Gets To Brody

The pressure on "Homeland's" Nicholas Brody (Damian Lewis) has been intense for a long time -- but lately, his life has gotten even more unmanageable, which almost doesn't seem possible.

Abu Nazir expects him to assist in the planning and execution of a terrorist plot. If Brody doesn't inform the CIA of the details of that plot -- if he can get the details, that is -- the government will destroy the congressman and his family. Brody's got a tortured connection to his handler, Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes), but neither of them knows who they can trust -- probably not each other. And for good measure, in last week's "Homeland" (Sundays at 10 p.m. ET on Showtime), Brody's daughter Dana lost all faith in her father after he went along with a plan to cover up a fatal hit-and-run involving the vice president's son.

In HuffPost TV's exclusive clip from Sunday's "Homeland" episode above, titled "I'll Fly Away," a frustrated Brody unloads on Nazir's go-between, the journalist Roya Hammad (Zuleikha Robinson) -- and of course, Roya and Brody aren't the only ones listening to the conversation.

Every human being has a limit to what they can endure -- no show mines the extremes of emotion and belief like "Homeland." And it looks like Brody has finally reached the limit of what he can take.

"Homeland" airs at 10 p.m. ET on Sundays on Showtime.
