Michelle Hahn Gunned Down At Walmart, Allegedly By Stalker Ex-Boyfriend Charles Fickentsher

Mother Gunned Down At Walmart By Stalker Ex: Cops

Michelle Hahn dumped Charles Fickentsher after just three months of dating. Three weeks later, she was killed.

Hahn, 46, was loading groceries into her vehicle at a Louisville, Ky. Walmart Saturday afternoon when Fickentsher, 44, reportedly gunned her down, according to WDRB. Fickentsher drove three miles away to a park, where he shot himself dead.

The sad scene unfolded less than a month after the two broke up. They met at a yard sale over the summer, WLKY reports.

But Hahn may not have known about Fickentsher's dark past. He had been charged with stalking 10 times over the last 20 years in Jefferson County. In 2004, Fickentsher was charged for stalking and menacing another ex-girlfriend, according to WAVE. That woman had to call police when he followed her and a friend to another Walmart. The unidentified woman already had a domestic violence order against Fickentsher.

Hahn was the victim of his final crime.

"It appears that this was a domestic situation, from the information that we are gathering," LMPD spokesperson Carey Klain told WDRB. [Fickentsher] did flee the scene, and we do have information that he is deceased, apparently a self-inflicted gunshot wound. It's very unfortunate."

It wasn't the first heartbreak for Hahn's family. Her husband died two years ago from cancer, and the couple had two sons.
