Solange Knowles: Blue Ivy And Son Julez 'More Like Sister And Brother Than Cousins'

When proud parents Beyonce and Jay-Z welcomed baby Blue Ivy Carter last winter, Solange Knowles said she shared a "magnetic bond" with her new niece.

And in an interview with New York Magazine's Vulture, Solange reveals that both she and her son Julez, 8, are spending plenty of quality time with the newest addition to their family.

“Blue comes over, I babysit,” says Solange. “[Beyoncé] takes Julez sometimes for the weekend. [Blue] and Julez are going to grow up more like sister and brother than cousins.”

And when Blue is not with her aunt and cousin, she presumably has plenty of other pals to hang out with -- for example, Bey's former Destiny's Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, who've both done babysitting duty.

And while Blue Ivy is clearly dad Jay-Z's biggest fan, it seems Julez may be following in his uncle's footsteps. Solange tells Vulture that Julez is “showing signs of wanting to be an artist” and writes raps. “He loves it. It’s so scary,” she says.
