Cooking a big Thanksgiving dinner can be stressful. Nutritionist and host of The Cooking Channel's "Healthy Appetite" Ellie Krieger, told me that she thinks getting a head start is an excellent strategy when she joined me on Mondays With Marlo. Breads and cornbreads can be baked and frozen a week in advance, and soups freeze well. The day before, you can bake pies and casseroles. Getting most of the cooking done ahead of time will allow you to relax and enjoy yourself when your company arrives.
