Kenan Thompson Has A Sitcom In The Works

"Suburgatory" 2.0? Kenan Thompson might be making it happen.

According to THR, "Saturday Night Live" masterminds Lorne Michaels and Kenan Thompson are teaming up to create a single-camera NBC comedy centered on Kenan Monroe (Thompson), a guy who moves from New York to live with his in-laws in the suburbs. Michaels will executive produce the project.

Now the only question is .... will Kel be making an appearance?

In other casting news...

Chris Evert and Lindsay Davenport are headed to "CSI." The tennis pros will appear on the CBS series as themselves in an episode focused on the death of a professional tennis player. [TV Guide]

Cameron Mathison has joined the "Hot In Cleveland" cast. Mathison will appear on the TV Land sitcom as a friend of Melanie's (Valerie Bertinelli) boyfriend Alec. His character will go on to date Joy (Jane Leeves). [Soap Opera Digest]

Jane Kaczmarek Is "SVU"-bound. The "Malcolm In The Middle" vet is stopping by "Law & Order: SVU" to play District Attorney Pam James. [TV Guide]

Raul Esparza has joined "Hannibal."
The "Pushing Daisies" alum will play Hannibal Lecter's (Mads Mikkelsen) jailer Dr. Chilton on the NBC thriller. [TVLine]
