Just in time for Black Friday, rapper Nicki Minaj is singing the praises of Pink Friday. The perfume, not the hit album of the same name.
Sheathed in black as her song "Freedom" plays, the "American Idol" judge pricks her finger on a black rose, bleeds pink, and then the pink blood turns black roses red and her skin gold.
She's in the pink, everything's coming up roses, and what she touches turns to gold?
To find out what that smells like, fans will have to shell out $49 for 1.7 ounces. "The fragrance imparts a playful cloud of pink floral petals that whisper the sultry warmth of vanilla, skin musks and woods," says Macy's ad copy.
Minaj certainly didn't hurt her brand Sunday in winning two American Music Awards. That's one fragrance you can't bottle: the sweet smell of success.
