'Outback Hunters': Croc Knocks Hunter Into The Water

On "Outback Hunters," a crocodile hunter was about to become the hunted after he was knocked into croc-infested waters. And it was the croc who knocked him in!

"Eric! Eric’s overboard!" the shout rang out. "The croc hit the boat!"

The crew had been on the hunt for a 16-foot crocodole that had been killing cattle in the area. But suddenly, it seemed that he was out to get them. Luckily, Eric was pulled back into the boat safely.

They tried to capture him with a steel harpoon, but it glanced off his hide. In fact, they had to come back in daylight to try again. Then, as a bit of retribution, they finally managed to rope him and shoot him. Now the cattle -- and Eric -- can rest a little easier.

The hunt continues on "Outback Hunters" every Sunday at 11 p.m. ET on History.
