Ed Sheeran's Sweet Performance Of 'Little Things' (VIDEO)

On Sunday night, Ed Sheeran kicked off his world tour at Le Trianon theater in Paris with a very special surprise for his fans. The British singer/songwriter performed a heartfelt acoustic rendition of the love song "Little Things" that he wrote for pals One Direction.

The audience gasped and erupted in applause upon hearing the first chords of the sweet single. The video of the performance has quickly racked up nearly 150,000 views on YouTube. One commenter said, "I was there, it was the most perfect live performance I've seen."

Sheeran was quick to tweet an Instagram photo of the cheering crowd after his performance.

Last week on the Today Show in New York City, One Direction gave a live performance of the song to a live crowd of over 15,000 screaming fans, bringing many to tears.
