Michael Pfleger Stalker: Lidia Kuzniar Arrested After Violating Protection Order

Woman Charged With Stalking Father Pfleger

A suburban Chicago woman faces felony stalking charges after allegedly violating a protection order against her and disrupting Sunday masses at Rev. Michael Pfleger's St. Sabina Church on Sunday.

Lidia Kuzniar, 55, of Deerfield, Ill., has been charged with felony stalking and aggravated stalking in violation of an order of protection, NBC Chicago reports.

According to the Chicago Sun-Times, Pfleger had served a "no-contact" order of protection against the woman late last week, but Kuzniar arrived at the South Side church where he is pastor Sunday morning. She was previously arrested at the church for trespassing twice before -- on Nov. 8 and Nov. 11.

Pfleger told the Chicago Tribune that the matter is one "that's developed here over the last six to eight weeks" and had "gotten more serious" in recent days.

Pfleger, 63, is an outspoken anti-violence activist who is no stranger to the spotlight. He was named among the city's 100 most powerful residents by Chicago magazine this year and is well-known for his fiery speeches on the subjects of gun violence, race, poverty and education.
