Oddly enough, the boys of One Direction had a little something to do with the fact that #PiersMorganIsSmelly began trending worldwide on Twitter today. Early on Tuesday afternoon, British journalist and CNN host Piers Morgan, rather unexpectedly, engaged in a heated Twitter war with the members of One Direction.
It all started when Piers questioned the boys' love of British soccer player David Beckham, and then the conversation quickly evolved into something else entirely, fueled by Harry and Liam, with some back-up from Louis.
