Chances are you’ll be visiting many friends and family member's houses during this holiday season. And with that comes the possibility of having to remove your shoes at the request of the hostess. To avoid the embarrassment of having your sneakers or high heels stink up a room, Yahoo found an interesting way to deodorize smelly shoes.

First apply a generous amount of baking soda into the soles. Then, place the shoes into a plastic bag. After, just place them in the freezer and leave them overnight. The next morning you can shake the powder out into the garbage.

It’s a simple way to feel confident in any situation. And, considering how easy it is, you can do this to avoid stinking up your own home!
