Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli (R) said he "completely" agreed when a radio host suggested "there’s something going on" with Obama's election win.
On November 20, Cheri Jacobus of WMAL radio said "we’re hearing so many stories" about voter fraud and suggested she was suspicious about Obama's win in states "where photo ID is required."
"Obama lost every one of those states. He can’t win a state where photo ID is required," Jacobus said. "So clearly there’s something going on out there, and until there’s a way to have something done about it where when you report it, you know it’s going to be looked into, the other side just says, 'Oh, well, you’re just poor losers,' and that sort of thing."
Cuccinelli agreed with Jacobus' theory, insisting she was "preaching to the choir."
"Your tone suggests you’re a little upset with me," Cuccinelli said. "I’m with you completely."
In an email to the Virginian-Pilot, Cuccinelli's spokesman Noah Wall said it's "silly" to think the official's remarks question Obama's election win.
"There is no question that President Obama legitimately won reelection," Wall said. "Ken was simply talking about the fact that there were problems on election day which need to be addressed."
