Bullied And Beaten On Black Friday

Reverend Billy Talen, founder of the Church of Stop Shopping was on HuffPost Live Monday to tell host Abby Huntsman his war stories of preaching on the front lines of a Black Friday Macy's.

"I felt a hand come into my holy collar," Reverend Billy said, "and I was pulled into the Macy's."

Once inside the Macy's, Reverend Billy describes it as "a lower Dante level," and says once he was in there he was, "roughed up by a mix of New York policemen and kinda Blackwater USA looking guys who were bruising me but it was all underneath the clothing."

Reverend Billy created The Church Of Stop Shopping in 1999 to satirically combat corporate consumerism in America.
