'Revolution' Fall Finale: Monroe Gets The Power He Needs For War (VIDEO)

'Revolution' Fall Finale: Monroe Finds New Power For War

That's a wrap on the first half-season of "Revolution." The NBC drama is taking a page from cable television by splitting their freshman hit into two halves, so each can run without interruption. And while that certainly made for a dramatic cliffhanger, it also means fans will have to wait several months to see what happens next.

The quest to rescue Danny reached its conclusion, as everyone found themselves on Monroe's compound. By the end of the hour, the rescue was proven a success, but also a failure. Miles and Monroe faced off, but neither managed to best the other. Monroe did, however, learn that Miles no longer sees him as family.

With her children's lives threatened, Rachel finished up work on the amplifier that would give Monroe more control over power. Even though they escaped, the final moments proved that her work had been successful. As Charlie's team of revolutionaries ran from the compound, a helicopter lifted off and prepared to fire on them.

It'll be a whole new war when "Revolution" returns to NBC's schedule on March 25, 2013.
