A Snoop Christmas Carol: Singer Joined By Sports Stars In 'The Cautionary Tale Of Ebenezer Snoop'

Bah Humbizzle: Snoop Lion, Sports Stars Take On Christmas Classic

The Charles Dickens classic "A Christmas Carol" has been seen many incarnations since its initial publication in 1843. Throughout the years, the story has been adapted by everyone, including the Muppets, the Flintstones and Dr. Who.

Now, Snoop Lion and a slew of sports stars have thrown their names into the trove of Christmas Carol pastiches.

In "The Cautionary Tale of Ebenezer Snoop," the rapper-turned-reggae-artist tells the story of a man who has lost his holiday spirit -- or, as Snoop puts it, "A classic tale of loss, regret, redemption, and, of course, partying." The tale is set in Snoop's hometown of Los Angeles.

"Twas the season of eggnog and juice," the clip begins, before Ebenezer Snoop is visited by various sports figures and celebrities, who lend their voices as the Ghosts of Christmas Past (Stan Smith), Present (David Beckham), and Future (Derrick Rose and Rita Ora). The film also features cameos by Dwight Howard, Andy Murray, and Yohan Blake.

Illustrated by JJ Sedelmaier of "Beavis and Butthead" fame, the short is part of an Adidas campaign that includes a Facebook app and a #bahumbizzle hashtag, ESPN reports.

In addition, it appears that Ebenezer Snoop has taken over the Adidas Twitter page:
