Boys Choir Sings Tears For Fears' 'Mad World' For Universal Children's Day (VIDEO)

'Mad World' Like You've Never Heard It Before

A boys choir from Germany took a cue from everyone's favorite English New Wave band this month. The choir, known as Wuppertaler Kurrende, covered the hit Tears for Fears song, "Mad World," in a touching performance in honor of Universal Children's Day.

Universal Children's Day is celebrated on November 20th and recognizes the obstacles faced by young people across the globe suffering from hunger, malnutrition, dirty water and the absence of vaccine protection. During the performance, the boys of Wuppertaler Kurrende choir can be seen gradually exiting the stage, representing the fact that every three seconds the world loses a child.
