"As a former nurse practitioner," she said, "I can't tell you how many breast exams I did and it's looking at shifting terrain month to month without any kind of map."
Mason went on to say, "Screening mammograms do not save lives so I have opted out. I am accepting the fact that life is uncertain. I think that's something that we all have to face."
