French Montana & 50 Cent Feud: Rapper Calls 50 An 'Old Man'

Rapper Mocks 'Old Man' 50 Cent

50 Cent is getting a taste of his own medicine.

In 2007, 50 famously bet Kanye West that his album "Curtis" would outsell West's "Graduation." He was so confident that he promised to stop releasing solo albums if West sold more copies then 50 did. It turned out to be a bad bet for 50 as "Graduation" outsold "Curtis." While he didn't release another album right away, 50 Cent dropped "Before I Self-Destruct" in 2009 and will be debuting another album, "Street King Immortal," on Feb. 26, 2013.

Now 50 Cent's own album sales are getting questioned by rapper French Montana.

MTV reports that French Montana tweeted on Friday, "@50cent if u really about Dat life lets drop our album da same day and see who sell more u had your turn old man." The tweet no longer appears on French Montana's Twitter page.

French Montana also criticized 50 for his recent collaboration with Adam Levine and Eminem for his "My Life" single.

50 contributed to the argument, tweeting at French as well.

French Montana, who was born in Morocco, is signed by Bad Boy. While the rapper has released multiple mixtapes since 2009, his first studio album is the upcoming "Excuse My French." This summer, French Montana released a single featuring Drake, Lil Wayne, and Rick Ross called "Pop That." In an interesting turn, the YouTube video for "Pop That" on French Montana's VEVO currently shows a background ad for 50 Cent's "My Life."
