'She Hates Me': Big Boi & Kid Cudi Drop New Track

In preparation for Big Boi's upcoming album, "Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors," a new single has been released by the artist. Featuring Kid Cudi, "She Hates Me" is one of many collaborations on "Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors." Listen below:

The single carries strong influences from Cudi. Big Boi adopts the Cleveland rapper's somber style, lamenting, "She hates me, I know it, I know it / She hates me, I know it for sure / But I’ma make her love me."

"Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors" is Big Boi's second solo album. Big Boi released "Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty" in 2010, four years after Outkast debuted their most recent album, 2006's "Idlewild." In 2003 Big Boi and Andre 3000 made semi-solo moves by releasing the record "Speakerboxxx/The Love Below," a two disc project made up of one album by Big Boi and one by Andre 3000, respectively.

Due out Dec. 11, "Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors" features collaborations with T.I., Kelly Rowland, and B.o.B., among others. Andre 3000, however, does not make an appearance on the album.

"You gotta ask the other dude," Big Boi said of why Andre is absent from the album in an interview with San Francisco radio station 106 KMEL. "Whenever he's ready, you know what I'm saying? I've been making music and I've not stopped making music. This is my second solo record and I mean, whenever my partner's ready then we'll do it."

While no track features Andre 3000, the artist wasn't entirely absent from the record.

"I talk to him all the time... I played this album for him and he gave me his input on this record," Big Boi continued. "That's my partner, my best friend, my brother till I die. When he's ready to do it, we'll do it -- until then it's Big Boi."

Earlier this fall, Big Boi debuted a couple of songs from "Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors," -- his collaboration with Kelly Rowland, "Mama Told Me," and "Lines," featuring A$AP Rocky and Phantogram.
