Album of the Year Nominees for the 2013 Grammys have been announced, with heavy favorite Mumford & Sons ("Babel") joining Frank Ocean ("channel ORANGE"), The Black Keys ("El Camino"), fun. ("Some Nights") and Jack White ("Blunderbuss").

"Babel" is on the lips of many speculators, particularly because the album strikes the right balance of commercial success and critical appeal. The album moved 600,000 copies in its first week of sales, which was the year's best until Taylor Swift's "Red" debuted with over a million units sold.

In advance of Wednesday's Grammy Nominations Concert (hosted by Taylor Swift and LL Cool J), Steve Greenberg, a former president of Columbia Records and the chairman of S-Curve Records told Rolling Stone that he feels "Babel" is "a lock" for the award.

Last year, Adele's "21" beat out Rihanna's "Loud," the Foo Fighters' "Wasting Light," Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" and Bruno Mars' "Doo-Wops & Hooligans."

The 55th Annual Grammy Awards will be broadcast on Feb. 10 from the Staples Center in Los Angeles. CBS will exclusively air the program, as it did the nominations concert.
