Burger King Chile's 'Cheesy Burger' Features A Crispy Patty Of Melted Cheese

If you're headed to Chile anytime soon, you might want to stop by a Burger King and try the Cheesy Burger, a limited-time offering that's blowing our minds just a bit.

By the looks of ads on Burger King Chile's website, the burger features a patty of melted cheese inside a crispy breadcrumb shell atop a standard beef patty.

There doesn't seem to be a ton written about the Cheesy Burger, other than that it's a returning offering -- pictures online dating to 2011 suggest that it made its first appearance that year.

We did, however, find a review written by a blogger from the site Sanduich. Translated from Spanish, the author writes that the offering is "almost the perfect burger" and that people at least "have to try it once in their life."

We're reminded of another burger with a breadcrumb patty -- McDonald's Japan's "Gracoro" burger with a patty of macaroni, shrimp and white sauce. Both appear to be plays on the croquette, although we imagine the similarities end there.
