Holiday Nail Art Inspired By Michael Kors, Marc Jacobs And Alexander McQueen (VIDEO)

Holiday Nail Art Inspired By Our Fave Designers

In an effort to make use of the 50 or so bottles of nail polish that are collecting dust on my bathroom floor, I'm going to end 2012 with a different manicure each week. All the necessary tools are at my fingertips (literally!), so a tip to turn to Look TV for some nail art inspiration couldn't have come at a better time.

The do-it-yourself fashion and beauty YouTube channel has teamed up with Moveslightly blogger Elizabeth Monson for a series called Polished where they serve up some serious nail style. In their latest installment, Monson breaks down three festive holiday nail art looks inspired by Michael Kors, Alexander McQueen and Marc Jacobs, including a traditional winter tartan pattern, silver and gold metallic mani and neon floral print. But don't let Monson's swift handiwork in the video above intimidate you from picking up a nail art pen. Part of the beauty behind these abstract designs is that error is almost impossible to see -- unless you polish beyond your cuticles.

Which runway-inspired design would you use to dress up your manicure? Tell us your thoughts in the comments section below.
