Ellen Burstyn made her debut on Broadway in the 1950s, and since then she's been winning over the hearts and minds of audiences around the world. With a career that has spanned several decades, there is little this leading lady hasn't done. From winning an Oscar, to hosting "Saturday Night Live" to starring in famous films like "The Exorcist," Ms. Burstyn has given us plenty worth celebrating.
The Detroit native has had a long run in Hollywood and she has hit the red carpet hundreds of times, often surprising us with her offbeat choices. Always a fan of Asian influences, it's not uncommon to see Ellen sporting a kimono, a long silk scarf or even a muumuu. Her penchant for oversized garments and quirky color combinations has kept the fashion police on their toes and ensured she never shows up in the same outfit as another star.
In honor of her 80th birthday we are taking a look back at some over her best (and, erm, worst) style moments over the past few decades. Happy Birthday, Ellen!
