It can be hard to get back to the gym after recovering from sickness. Health and nutrition expert Joy Bauer told me that exercise can actually boost your immune system when she visited me on Mondays With Marlo. Joy advised going back to the gym immediately when you're feeling better, but start out slow. Start out with 30 minutes of walking, and after a few days, you may feel ready to get back to your old routine.
