It's that time of year again: December, which means it's time for another installment of Caroline Wozniacki imitating Serena Williams.

In an exhibition match against Sharapova this past weekend, the Danish tennis star stuffed her bra and skirt with towels to mimic the famously voluptuous Williams. The stunt elicited laughter and cat calls from a crowd that included tennis player Roger Federer as an amused spectator.

As Larry Brown Sports points out, this is the second time in as many years that Woz has busted out her Serena impression. In December 2011, she stuffed her clothes while dancing on the court to a Rihanna song.

Williams often finds herself at the butt of jokes by fellow tennis players. In November, both Novak Djokovic and Andy Roddick enhanced their assets with towels to impersonate the 2012 WTA Player of the Year.

The imitations may elicit a few laughs from onlookers, but they also give way to negative remarks from critics who find the impressions to be in poor taste.

"If you're going to be Serena, hit your return with ferocity and glare at a linesperson," USA Today's Chris Chase wrote about Wozniacki's most recent imitation.

Similarly, in 2011, the Examiner's Lena Adebowale wrote:

If Wozniacki wants to imitate Williams, she should consider copying Williams' serve. Or better yet, her ability to win Grand Slams in the clutch. Williams is an international tennis champion. Mimicking her walk or buxom feminine attributes rather than her innate skill is tacky and disrespectful.
