Nobel Prize Ceremonies 2012: It's A Sweden vs. Norway Royal Style Face-Off! (PHOTOS)

It's an epic (polite, royal) fashion showdown.

As much as we love our Kate Middleton posts, we also relish the chance to write about other royals' style. (Especially when the Duchess in question is homebound due to another bout of morning sickness -- poor thing!)

Luckily, some Scandanavian royals were out and about to sate our desire for noble style. The Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to the European Union in Oslo on Monday, while Stockholm also had a Nobel ceremony, handing out the award for Literature and Medicine, along with others.

There was plenty of pomp and circumstance to spare, but also, the ROYALS were there. Let's have a style showdown, shall we? In Norway, Queen Sonja and Princess Mette-Marit suited up in their best formal-yet-casual looks; Mette-Marit picked a furry collar and some sort of head flair, while Her Majesty picked a classic cream and crimson ensemble. (We're especially loving Sonja's red accessories, down to her glossy manicure.)

And over in Sweden, Crown Princess Victoria sparkled in a green sequined gown and regalia, while her younger sister Madeline opted for an all-silver look. Queen Silvia looked on in a trendy lace dress -- and plenty o' royal bling.

So which country looked lovelier? Check it out below.
