Amanda Bynes' Hit-And-Run Charges Dismissed

Amanda Bynes has had a bad year, but perhaps her luck is changing.

RadarOnline reports the 26-year-old scored a "major legal victory," as two misdemeanor hit-and-run charges filed against her have been formally dismissed. Bynes was reportedly able to reach a civil compromise in both cases, as the two separate victims agreed to dismiss the charges in favor of financial settlements, according to a source close to the situation.

"This is routinely done when both sides are able to come to an agreement, and there really is no need to pursue legal charges because damages to their respective vehicles was paid for,” the source explained to RadarOnline.

Bynes had pled not guilty to the charges, which were brought against her in September. The first charge stemmed from an incident in April, after the actress allegedly rear-ended another vehicle while driving an Enterprise rental car. The second charge was the result of an incident in August, as Bynes allegedly left the scene of a minor accident without exchanging information with the other driver.

The vehicular mishaps were just part of a string of bizarre behavior the actress displayed this year.
