No, sadly the gone-too-soon NBC series "American Dreams" isn't getting a full-fledged reunion show, but fans of the period drama will be able to see the show's cast, producers and writers reuniting at the ATX Festival in Austin next June.

According to TV Line, former stars Brittany Snow (protagonist Meg), Sarah Ramos (sister Patty), Ethan Dampf (younger brother Will), Rachel Boston (sister-in-law Beth) and Tom Verica (Pryor patriarch Jack) will all be in attendance, as well as the Pryor family's friends, Vanessa Lengies (Meg's best friend Roxanne), Arlen Escarpeta (almost-love interest Sam) and Jamie Elman (Meg's ex Luke). Additional cast members may be added closer to the festival.

Also on hand will be creator Jonathan Prince and writer-producers Liz Tigelaar, Rama Stagner, David Semel, Jason Wilborn and Becky Hartman Edwards.

Other events going on at the ATX Festival (running from June 6-9) include panels on "Archer," "Friday Night Lights," "Firefly," "Parenthood," "Life Unexpected," "Teen Wolf," "Once Upon a Time," "The Vampire Diaries" and more.

For the uninitiated, here's more about the festival, which is entering its second year in 2013:

We have all the functionality of a traditional film festival – spotlighting classic shows, never aired pilots, cancelled too soon series, cult favorites, current hits, and premieres of new series. In addition, we will focus on episode screenings with Q&A’s from the cast and creators; panels focused on industry related topics like streaming and innovative outlets to continue production outside of the network/studio system; and will include parties, live music, meet-ups, social media events, and “super secret happy hours.” Ultimately, ATX has the goal of serving both the community and industry professionals equally by giving them the opportunity to discuss and celebrate all aspect of TV.
