'The Big Bang Theory': Sheldon Kills Santa

Sheldon is a grump about Christmas, and this season on "The Big Bang Theory," the reason finally became clear. Leonard tried to soften his heart by planning a Christmas-themed Dungeons & Dragons campaign. The guys were sent on a mission to rescue Santa Claus, but when they got there, things took a dark turn.

Sheldon turned on his allies and confronted Santa Claus. In an uncomfortable moment, he revealed that he hated Santa because he didn't bring his Pop Pop back to life after he'd died when Sheldon was a small boy. So, he left him there to die. In a dream that night, though, Santa got back at him with a cannon.

After dying early in the game, Raj went out with the girls for a night of revelry. They tried to play wing-women for him, but it didn't work out. He did, however, find common ground with Amy: Both had suffered teasing and rejection for years.

Join in the laughs with "The Big Bang Theory," Thursdays at 8 p.m. EST on CBS. New episodes return January 3, 2013.
