Phone-Throwing Contest: Finnish Teen Breaks Records For Cell Phone Fling (VIDEO)

He Just Broke The Record For WHAT? (VIDEO)

We've seen teens set records for a number of unusual world records: an Arizona high school student set a record for his impressive potato-launching skills, while a 16-year-old Texas cheerleader claimed the world handspring record with 35 consecutive flips. Most recently, a Finnish teenager put his skills to the test to win an international mobile phone-throwing competition and set a new record in Finland.

According to KARE 11 News, the contest that started 12 years again in Finland, and attracts participants from around the world, is now held in many countries. This year, the teen won by flinging an old Nokia phone 101 meters. Check out his winning throw in the video above.
